Alkacon OCEE compatibility notes

Alkacon OCEE is compatible with all official stable releases of OpenCms 7.

Alkacon OCEE is also compatible with all official stable release versions of OpenCms 6, starting with version 6.0.2.

The functionality of Alkacon OCEE for OpenCms version 7 and OpenCms version 6 is identical.

Because of internal changes in the OpenCms API, different versions of the OCEE components are required for OpenCms version 7 and version 6.

Customers that have a valid OCEE Update Subscription will receive any OCEE version on request free of charge during the subscription period.

The following modules are Database dependent:

• Alkacon OCEE Transaction Manager
• Alkacon OCEE VFS Doctor
• Alkacon OCEE Replicator

Currently supported databases for these modules are:

• MySQL 4.1 or 5.0
• Oracle 8.1.7, 9.x, 10.x or 11.x.
• PostgreSQL 8.x (only with OpenCms 7.0.2 or newer)
• MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005 (only with OpenCms 7.0.2 or newer)

Other databases or versions are not supported for these modules.

Alkacon OCEE is compatible with Java 1.4 or newer. The Alkacon OCEE LDAP Connector requires Java 1.5 or newer. Alkacon OCEE is compatible with Java 1.6.
