The Alkacon OpenCms Newsletter Module extends OpenCms with the capability to manage multiple mailing lists and send highly configurable newsletter emails to the mailing list subscribers.

This is an updated version of the module compatible with OpenCms 7.5.0.

The following features are provided:

• Confirmed (double) opt-in newsletter subscription for new users.
• Subscribers are managed in separate OpenCms organizational units (OU). Multiple Newsletter OUs are possible.
• Multiple mailing lists can be managed in one Newsletter OU.
• Freely editable newsletter content can be sent to the different mailing lists.
• Newsletter content can be HTML email or plain text email.
• Configurable mailing list subscription page which can be combined with an existing OpenCms JSP template.
• It's possible to extend the module to send newsletters based on an own implementation of a custom structured XML content.

New features in Version 1.0.2:

• Confirmed (double) opt-in newsletter subscription for new users.
• It is now possible to select a mailing list and use “Assign subscribers for mailing list”
• This version is compatible with OpenCms 7.5.0

The Newsletter Module is part of the Alkacon OpenCms Add-On Module Package (OAMP).

Please note: To use this version of the Alkacon OAMP newsletter module, you need OpenCms version 7.5.0. The module is not compatible with older OpenCms versions.
